Week 32 in 2022
All big economies try to introduce digital currencies. The U.S. are behind in the race; EU is in the piloting phase and China has been running trials since 2020. Albania needs to position itself wisely. In our opinion, for Albania there is only one option: the EU one. For the first time in history, probably, we are facing a jobless recession. Especially in Germany and Italy, the economies are in recession while labour shortages abound. If Albania does not find ways to offer a flourishing and attractive economic and job landscape, it might further loose valuable workforce. We think Albania has to act fast and decisive – otherwise it will be on the loosing end of economic growth for at least a whole generation.
